1. connect two computer via Ethernet cable.
IN 1st computer
Go to control panel -> network and sharing center > local area connections
Right click on it and select properties
In internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and double click on it
Select the check box ‘use the following ip address’.
Ip address: 192.168.1.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Press ok and close
IN 2nd computer
Ip address: 192.168.1.2
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Now turn off both computers firewall
For check the connectivity enter the following command in 1st computer
ping <ip address of another computer eg. 192.168.1.2> & press enter, if properly connected then it show following :
Reply from 192.168.1.2 : bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.1.2 : bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.1.2 : bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128
Check reply in another computer also, use 192.168.1.1 instead of 192.168.1.2 while checking in 2nd one.
After both computers reply
Go to 1st computer 192.168.1.1 address
To share the data right click on file and folder and select share with and in it select everyone
Now go to 2nd computer and choose start-> run
type:--- \\192.168.1.1

4. To show all hosted network details: netsh wlan show hostednetwork

Once doing so your computer will start transmitting the ssid for your WiFi hotspot you just created, you can connect to this WiFi network using the password you just created. But still there wont be internet connection on that wifi network.
